Note from Karida ❤️

Hey there,

I hope you’re staying safe and sane during these challenging times.

I’m very passionate about helping Tap Teachers, and so I decided to offer this workshop about navigating the nuances of giving Tap Dance training in a virtual environment. I’ve been doing online training for Tap Teachers for a while now, and I thought this session would be a useful way for me to share some thoughts and for us to come together as a community.

Please email me at [email protected] or tag me in my free FB group for Tap Teachers “Dance Studios on Tap!” if there’s any other ways that I can help.

BELOW IS THE VIDEO RECORDING of the strategy session (SCROLL DOWN), PDF file of the slides I presented, and a Google Doc that I made so that we can share guidelines with students and families about Tap dancing safely at home.

Once this crisis is behind us, it’s important for us to come out strong and with vision for our Tap students. If you’d like to work with me on ways to improve the growth and retention for your studio’s Tap program, or if you’re looking to develop yourself as a Tap Teacher via training, I have programs that I invite you to check out.

Here’s to being resilient and creative in difficult times...these two traits are at the very origins of Tap Dance itself!

"Safe Tap Dancing at Home": Guidelines for Students & Families

If you want to give your students and families extra guidance about at-home Tap dance practice (safety, flooring issues, etc), here's a doc I made that you can distribute! Turn it into a PDF, and send it out! To make your own edits to this, download to a word document first.

If your Tap program had low interest, growth and retention struggles BEFORE this crisis,

the LAST thing you want to do is go back to "business as usual" when the studio re-opens.

It's REALLY REALLY critical for your studio business that you get some strategies going to come out of the gate STRONG, with confidence, strategy and excitement.

Join me for this workshop, all about Tap-specific strategies for promotion, growth & retention!
